Horses Steal Trailer – FILM.TV

Stealing the Story Trailer: The beauty of Norway can sometimes hurt. Trond only seeks solitude as he moves into the small village in the forest. In this idyll he recognizes in his neighbor an old acquaintance from youth days again. Suddenly there are all those memories of that post-war summer, when Trond was 15 years old and spent several weeks chopping wood in the woods with his father. A summer in which he stole horses with a friend and discovered love. The summer, in which a child died, the friend disappeared and secrets of his father came to light. And the summer when he should see his father for the last time.Actor: Stellan Skarsgård, Tobias Santelmann, Danica Curcic, Pål Sverre Hagen, Bjørn Floberg, Anders Baasmo Christiansen, Jon Ranes, Gard B. Background: "Memories that flood the consciousness and bring the pain – but how strong this is felt, you decide yourself." – This is one of the most beautiful and strangest sentences in Per Peterson's novel "Steal horses", which in millions of millions of languages was sold. It is arguably the most successful Norwegian book of all time, and Norwegian-born Norwegian director Hans Petter Moland (ONE MAN OF WORLD, ONE ONE, Jussi Adler-Olsen's REDEEMMENT), now living in the US, now has it with his favorite actor, Sweden's Stellan Skarsgård in the role of old Trond Sander, filmed in the midst of breathtaking mountain and river scenery between Norway and Sweden. At its world premiere in the competition of the Berlinale in 2019, PFERDE STEHLEN was awarded the Silver Bear for an Outstanding Artistic Performance (Camera). At the Amanda Awards at the Norwegian International Film Festival Haugesund the film received five Amandas: Best Norwegian Film, Best Director (Hans Petter Moland), Best Camera (Rasmus Videbæk), Best Music (Kaspar Kaae) and Best Supporting Actor (Bjørn Floberg).
